On Turning 30...
8:27 AM
It's been over 2 weeks since I've hit the 30 mark and I couldn't be more proud of how I'm kicking off the 30th year on this big ball of mud.
Have I already fallen flat on my face? yes.
Have I been severely humbled? yes.
Was there a lot of laughter? yes.
Did I eat cake? you betcha.
and do I still need to wash the coconut mask out of my hair from overnight as I sit and write this> ?
yes. gross.
There is a lot to look forward to in year 30. New home. New opportunities. New business. An amazing husband. Awesomely supportive family and another year to figure out how to iron pleats...:)
29 was a great year. Adam and I both had a lot of heartache and challenges to overcome. I will say, I am married to one of the most selfless, caring men who has a heart of gold. He loves hard and can sometimes come across as crass, but truly he loves people and wants to see them succeed; including me. 29 brought alot of personal growth for your girl and while it wasn't pretty, it was worth it... seriously, I call them our "awkward conversation" that usually last well into the morning that are comprised of Adam practicing a ton of grace and patience and me getting real with myself. ... PS. I am the ugliest crier).
She's coming right along! |

It's been good. And while in life, people may let you down, I've (and we've) learned, it's important to just keep going. You never know who's watching you, who you're giving hope too and who you could impact (even if it's just by being your amazingly awkward self).
Cheers to 30.... and many more to come!
